Seireigami, Chapter 1: The Boy of the Lightning Medllion
It all started on a normal day for Remi Kokimiyoi, he was reading some books about biology, Remi had problems at school, since middle school started, he was bullied and teased by students (and teachers) Remi, believing he's so smart won't go to school! But everything changed when HE came!
"Remi, look who's here to see you!" said Memoria, Remi's mother,
"Fine, who is it?" said Remi, he put down the book and walked down stairs to find his father, who was suppose to be researching in Japan!
"D-d-d-dad?!" stammered Remi, "Ha ha ha, surprise, I'm going to have a few days off to enjoy home-sweet-home, also I brought someone!" said Taki, Remi's father.
Then a 6 year-old boy stepped from behind Taki, he was smiling at Remi, Remi, however got startled by the boy!
"This is Rai-Ken, Rai for short, I found him at a power plant that generates electricty all over Tokyo, but it got hit a by a large lightning strike and exploded, Rai-ken was injured badly and he doesn't seem to recall and memories, so I'm letting him stay here until his memories come back and he can return home!" explained Taki,
Remi studied the boy, he didn't look human for some reason, he had silver hair, blue-mist eyes, and he had strange black lines running down from them, and a dark blue cloak, at first it seemed like a dress, but also what was strange was the silver medllion on the center of the cloak, it had a lightning bolt carved on it, "So, how long is he staying..." Remi asked, he looked at the boy annoyed, "Just until his memories come back!" said Taki for the second time, "Hi, Remi, I'm Rai-ken, I'm going to be your partner for now on!" said Rai, "Eh?" said Remi, "Ha ha ha! Well, you see Remi, when I saved Rai, he wanted to return the favor, so I asked him to be your friend, and help but some scense in that head of yours!" said Taki, "Whatever!" replied Remi, he walked back upstairs, "Come on Remi, it's lunch time!" said Memoria, "I'm not hungry!" said Remi.
Later that Night....
'Rai-ken, thats a strange name...' though Remi, then right beside him was Rai putting down a floor bed and smoothing it out.."AAAHHH, You're sleeping in here?!" stammered Remi, "Well, since I'm just a kid and Mr. Taki put you in charge with me, I'm going to be sleeping in the same room as you!" explained Rai, "No way, uh huh, I did not agree to this!" said Remi, then he went towards Rai and grabbed him by the medallion, then all of a sudden a bright light-blue flash started comeing from it, it was blinding Remi, he didn't know Rai's reaction, but then a explosion came from, and Remi held his palm in pain, "What the Heck was that!?" yelled Remi, Rai-ken was on the floor, then staightened out his cloak, "Huh?" said Rai, still with that perky smile of his. Remi grumbled and walked into the bathroom, 'Yeow! What a burn, what he do? Brand that lightning bolt on my hand?' He thought, the medallion's mark was burnt onto Remi's skin and couldn't be washed off, Remi walked back into his room, with Rai sleeping in the small bed next to his. Remi made a face but just walked to his bed and fell asleep...
The next morning...
"YAWN!" Remi strechted out of bed, and went down stairs, his dad was still home, and there was Rai-ken on the other side of the breakfest table from him. "Hmm..." said Taki, "What is it honey?" said Memoria, "I just found out, that it was a clear sky when the power plant in Tokyo blew up, so how can a lightning strike hit it?" said Taki, "Mabye it wasn't a lightning strike, mabye it was a kid toying with the controls!" said Remi while starring at Rai, "No, that can't be, the evidence show that it was blown by a lightning strike, and a very powerful one at that!" replied Taki... "I'm going to school!" said Remi, "Well finaly!" said Memoria, Remi didn't reply and slammed out the door, "What's wrong with him?" asked Rai, "Oh, Rai, you see Remi doesn't have any friends at school, infact most people hate him, well that's what he says!" said Memoria, "No friends?" said Rai, "He says their thoughts interupt him or something, and I don't even know what that means..." said Memoria, "Don't worry mam! I'll make sure Remi will have tons of friends, including me!" said Rai-ken standing on his chair, Memoria smiled...
At the school...
'Why do I have to take care of a little brat like R...' thought Remi, then his teacher asked him a question on the board, Remi replied it without even trying, "That's correct, Remojen, take your seat!" said the teacher, Remi sat down staring out the window, 'What a stuck-up!' 'What a jerk!', thoughts of other people were pouring into Remi's mind, he put his ears into his hands, strained from the random thoughts... Behind the classroom was Rai-ken, hiding from sight, he looked at Remi's expression, he knew something wasn't right!
After the bell...
On the roof, Remi was watching the horizen, Rai-ken walked up the steps and wondered why Remi wasn't in class, "Hey Remi," started Rai, "AHHH!" yelled Remi, while turning around towards Rai, "why aren't you in class?" continued Rai, "Why are you doing here?!" said Remi, then all of a sudden a tall-strong looking studdent walked out the door with a boy in his grasp, "Great, here's Kong!" said Remi, Keith Tenner, was the bully at Remi's school, he was given the nickname Kong, for the reason he was big and tough! Remi, heard the thoughts of Kong and the boy, but hit his head and walked away, Rai was starring at the scene, then noticed Remi walking past him! "Remi, what are you doing? Aren't you going to help that kid?!" yelled Rai-ken, "What are you talking about? I can't stand up to someone like Kong, plus they're messing with my..." said Remi, but got cut off by the look on Rai's eyes, Rai was determined to stand up, "Fine, but you won't get any friends if you don't stand up for them!" yelled Rai-ken, the look on his face startled Remi, it wasn't the same kid that apeared from the door from yesterday! Rai-ken then stepped around and faced the bully, "Hey you big bully! If you want a fight, fight with me!" Rai yelled, 'Rai, no!' thought Remi, Kong looked at the little kid and laughed, "Ha ha ha, do you really want to mess with me?!" said Kong, he dropped the boy from his grasp, the boy ran down stairs, Kong walked towards Rai-ken, Rai didn't move, "So," said Kong while picking Rai from the cloak, "how are we going to do this? Heh heh heh!" Then Remi ran towards Kong and jumped on his back! "Let him go!" said Remi, 'What the heck am I doing?' he thought to himself, "What?" said Kong, he spun around trying to shake off Remi, no good, Remi cluched on tighter and tighter, then all of a sudden sparks apeared from his hand, and then soon Kong was being electricuted from lighting coming from Remi's right hand! Kong fell to his knees, and Remi blown away from the lightning, hit his back at the fence, Rai flipped and landed on his feet ready to fight! "Was that, lightning?" stammered Remi, then he looked at his hand, the mark from Rai's Medllion was glowing white-bluish, then soon vanished back to a color of a birth mark, then before he knew it, Kong was standing up and was glaring at Remi, "What the Hell was that?!" yelled Kong, then he noticed Rai, Rai was steaming, Rai thought that Remi was hurt by Kong by being flung to the fence, "How dare you hurt my friend!" yelled Rai-ken, Kong made a awful face, then ran towards Rai at full speed, Remi couldn't watch, then when he looked there was Kong being hit by lightning, from Rai's mouth! "What?" said Remi, while looking at the scene, Kong fell to the ground, Rai with a warrior's face walked onto him, "Yay, we did it Remi!" said Rai, the so determined warrior, was back to his perky annoying self again! Remi smiled akwardly, then said, "Wait! We?"
At dusk, at Remi's home...
"Dad! I'm serious!" yelled Remi, the family were having dinner, Taki sighed, "But Remi, honestly, how can Rai make lightning come out of his mouth?" Remi, being defeated sat down in his chair with a upset face, Rai, on the other side of the table was scarfing up his food, "Please, don't rush Rai-ken" said Memoria, Remi just toying with his food stared at Rai, when Rai-ken finished his dinner he said, "Oh, I almost forgot!" He then took off his Medallion, "Can you read this? I know how to read, but I don't know what the words mean." Rai was handing over his Medallion to Taki, Remi sat up in his chair and tried to stop Taki from taking it, but when Rai placed it in his hand nothing happened, and Remi sighed in his chair, "Hmm..." said Taki, "It says, 'THE DENKOU SEIREIGAMI'.....
